Junior Associate Advocate (Fresher)
Location: Mumbai (New Marine Lines)Experience: 0–1 year
We are a litigation practice focused on matrimonial and family law, including NRI and cross-border matters. We also handle criminal, civil and testamentary matters. We are looking for a motivated fresher to train in family and matrimonial litigation.
Who we’re looking for
✓ LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) degree, and enrolled or applying for enrolment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa
✓ Strong interest in family, matrimonial and NRI law
✓ Good legal research skills and familiarity with SCC Online / Manupatra
✓ Clear written and spoken English; Hindi or Marathi preferred
✓ Sensitivity and discretion in dealing with clients in difficult personal situations
✓ Punctual, organised and willing to attend court daily
✓ Willing to travel to Courts outside of Mumbai
What the role involves
✓ Attending Family Court, Magistrate Court and High Court matters with seniors, and independently for adjournments and routine boards
✓ First drafts of petitions, applications, affidavits, replies and correspondence
✓ Legal research and case-law compilations
✓ Maintaining court diaries, roznama updates and case files
✓ Assisting in client conferences, including with NRI clients

✓ Office hours: Mon–Sat (1st, 3rd & 5th Saturdays), 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
